“100th Anniversary Sun Yat-SenUniversity” Abstract Acrylic Painting by Chi Zhang

This Abstract acrylic artwork was designed and drawn for 100th Anniversary of Sun Yat-Sen University by Chi Zhang. The University was founded a century ago by Dr Sun Yat-Sen, a revolutionary pioneer of China. As a BSci graduate in Polymer Chemistry in 1982, Author Dr Chi Zhang had spent 4 year study in the campus of SYSU, Guangzhou, China. This artwork of three artworks-Impression of East Lake, Mr Rong Geng and 100th Anniversary Sun Yat-Set University by Chi Zhang, was sent to selection committee of Calligraphy, Fine Art and Photography works for 100th Anniversary Exhibition of Celebration of University, and this artwork was approved by selection committee,  but each author can be only selected one for the show due to limited space. Hence the staff in charge asked by using Wechat to pick one of the three for the show, and I had picked Mr Rong Geng since he is a great master of scholar, connoisseur and collector of Chinese antiquities who spent a lifetime accumulating artistic and cultural rarities.
